Scanning Cahoot End of Day Form

An EOD form is a document that contains the list of the day's shipments. The Cahoot End of Day form is a communication tool whereby CFPs certify that the day's shipments were handed over to the correct carriers on time. By simply scanning a QR code on your mobile device, you can confirm all packages have been handed over to the carrier.

Important: The Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime Program has strict requirements for shipping and delivery times. The Cahoot EOD form helps ensure any delays are properly attributed and don't negatively impact your fulfillment performance.

The Cahoot EOD form is created automatically at 2:45p local time, after all the shipping labels have been generated for the day. Any labels created after your cutoff (2:45p local time) will be added to a second form.

Scanning the Cahoot EOD form is Step 3 of the Cahoot Fulfillment Partner Daily Workflow.

Step 1 of the Cahoot Fulfillment Partner Daily Workflow starts with Creating a Pick List for the orders that are ready for fulfillment and bringing the items (including Shipping Supplies) to the Packing Station.

Step 2 is to Pack the items using Scan Verification. And lastly,

Step 3 is to Scan the Cahoot End of Day Form, which tells Cahoot that the orders are indeed handed over to the carriers on time.

Note: Cahoot End of Day forms are REQUIRED to be completed every business day. Please scan it AFTER each carrier has left your facility with all their packages for the day (not before).

Step-by-Step Guide

1. After 2:45 PM local time, click the Download link on your Cahoot dashboard, or browse to the file in the Reports menu.

2. Click Print in the Action column to download and print the form.

3. Page 1 of the Cahoot EOD form contains a Summary of the day's shipments across all carriers. Please compare the package count with the total number of packages you are handing over to each of the carriers today.

Note: The Cahoot EOD form separates FedEx shipments into Ground vs. Express because there are different pickups for these services.

3. AFTER each carrier arrives for pickup, confirm that all the packages have been handed over to the driver by simply scanning the QR code for that carrier and clicking Yes. Most modern cell phones can scan QR codes using the camera (no special apps required).

If there are any issues with handing over the packages to that carrier, select No and enter the details when prompted.

Note: You will have multiple QR codes if you have shipments for multiple carriers on a given day.

Note: If you cannot scan, or are having trouble scanning the QR code, you can use the link on the form to confirm the packages instead.

Reconfirming Orders

As a double check, if Cahoot does NOT see a Carrier Origin Scan the next business day, Cahoot will ask you to confirm you have handed over any Premium (Expedited Orders, including Amazon Prime) Orders to the Carrier.

In most cases, Carriers will have their Origin Scan completed by the morning of the next business day, so when there is no Origin Scan event, Cahoot wants to confirm everything went well handing packages over to the Carrier.
