Learn how to add support for the FedEx Ground Economy shipping service (formerly FedEx SmartPost) to your Cahoot account.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Connect your FedEx account to Cahoot. Your carrier account must be configured to use Ground Economy. Speak with your FedEx Account rep if it's not enabled on your account. 

2. Retrieve the FedEx Ground Economy Hub ID from your FedEx account and create a Support ticket requesting to have it configured in your Cahoot account. 

Follow these requirements to receive FedEx Ground Economy rates in Cahoot:

• Total package weight cannot exceed 70 lbs.
• Dimensions: length plus girth (L + 2W + 2H) cannot exceed 130 inches.
• For shipment weights less than 1 pound, choose Ground Economy shipping service. For shipment weights greater than 1 pound, choose Ground Economy Parcel shipping service.
• NOTE: Ground Economy does not support signature confirmations for deliveries.
