Fixing Invalid Addresses for Cahoot Fulfilled Orders
Invalid address errors are one of the most common reasons orders get flagged for Manual Review during auto-label generation. This article explains how to find and correct invalid addresses for orders assigned to Cahoot warehouses.
Action Required: As a Network Seller, you are responsible for fixing invalid addresses on your orders. Check your Cahoot account daily for any orders tagged Invalid Address - Seller Action Required and validate them promptly to ensure they are shipped on time.
Finding Orders with Invalid Addresses
1On your Cahoot Dashboard, go to the Failed Labels section and click the number next to Invalid Address under Partner Orders.
2Click the Order ID to open the order details page.
Fixing the Address
3On the order details page, click Edit & Validate Address.
4Click Validate Address to retrieve suggested corrections from the carrier's address validation system.
5Review the suggestions, select the correct address, then click Save.
Note: Once saved, orders assigned to Cahoot warehouses are automatically reset and processed — no further action is needed.
If an order fails address validation but you have confirmed with the customer that the address is correct, you can Submit a Ticket requesting that Cahoot force the label creation using the original address.
Important: Bypassing address validation may result in undeliverable packages, return-to-sender shipments, or additional carrier fees. Always confirm the address directly with the customer before requesting this override.
