To connect your Etsy account, please submit your Etsy API Credentials using the Etsy Integration Form and Cahoot Support will let you know when the configuration is complete:

Etsy Integration Form

The following information is required, and the steps below demonstrate how to collect these credentials:

  • Etsy Auth Token
  • App ID
  • User Token

 

Step-by-Step Guide

 

App ID

1. Log in to the Etsy Developer Site > click Create a new app.

2. Fill in App overview.

  • Name
  • Description

3. Fill in App Details.
Fill in the fields based on the screenshot:

Type of Application: Select Buyer Tools and Seller Tools.
Users: Select The general public.
Commercial?:  Select No. 
What will App do?: Select Upload or edit listings and Read sales data.

 

4. Click Create the app.
Copy the API Key (Keystring) and API Secret (Shared Secret) into the Cahoot Etsy Integration Form then click Submit.

5. Edit Callback URLs

Navigate to the Callback URLs:
Manage your apps > select Cahoot app > Edit "Your callback URLs" > Add callback URL.

6. Gain Access Token

Under Shop Settings, click Grant Access. 

 

7. Lastly, please notify Cahoot Support when your form is submitted so we can begin processing your request as soon as possible. You will then receive confirmation when the configuration is complete, and when your Cahoot account is ready to start supporting orders from Etsy.
