To connect your WooCommerce account, please submit your WooCommerce API Credentials and we will let you know when the configuration is complete:

The following 4 pieces of information are required:

  • Consumer Key
  • Consumer Secret
  • Store URL (for your WordPress Site)
  • Do you have a Shipment Tracking Plugin installed? (Simple Yes or No)
    If Yes, then Cahoot needs to also install an API plugin:
    A. Provide Cahoot login access to your WooCommerce account so we can install the plugin
    B. Ensure your team can install our provided plugin

If you don't have your API Tokens readily available, the following instructions will help you capture them:

 

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Login to your WordPress Admin Panel and navigate to WooCommerce in the left panel and click Settings.

2. Go to the Advanced tab, select REST API and click Add Key.

3. Fill out the Key Details and select Generate API Key 

  • Description = Cahoot API Keys 
  • User = Select your Username (no need to create a new one)
  • Permissions = Read/Write

4. Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret values into a Txt File or Word Document.

Note: Add the remainder of the required fields to the Text File before uploading. See below for the suggested format:

 

Example WooCommerce Credentials

Consumer Key:

ck_6977XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX658

Consumer Secret:

cs_8553XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX04e

Store URL: (for your WordPress site)

5. Save and upload the text file to our secure server here:

6. Lastly, please notify Cahoot Support when your form is submitted as we don't get automatic notification. You will then receive confirmation when the configuration is complete, and when your Cahoot account is ready to start supporting orders from WooCommerce. Note that Cahoot will continue to import Amazon orders directly from Amazon if that channel is enabled in your Cahoot account.
