Connect Nordstrom Dsco
If you fulfill Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack drop ship orders, your orders are transmitted through the Rithum Dsco platform. This article walks you through creating OAuth2 API credentials in Dsco and sending them to Cahoot so we can connect your account and begin importing your Nordstrom orders automatically.
What Cahoot Needs From You:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
Step 1: Log In to Your Rithum Dsco Account
Your Dsco login credentials are issued directly by Nordstrom during supplier onboarding. If you don't have them, contact your Nordstrom vendor manager — Cahoot cannot create or reset Dsco accounts on your behalf.
1Go to the CommerceHub login page: https://account.commercehub.com/u/login/password
2Enter the email address and password provided by Nordstrom, then sign in. You'll land on the Dsco dashboard.
Step 2: Create OAuth2 API Credentials for Cahoot
Dsco lets you generate a dedicated set of API credentials for each integration partner. You'll create one named Cahoot so your Cahoot connection can be managed and revoked independently of any other integrations you use.
1In the left navigation, expand Automation and select API. This opens the Manage API Credentials page.
2Click Create Credentials in the upper right.
3In the API Credential Type dropdown, select Client Credentials (OAuth2) Type.
4In the Name field, enter Cahoot. The Description field is optional.
5Click Create & View Credentials.
6Copy both the Client ID and the Client Secret into a plain text file or Word document on your computer. Label each value clearly so there's no ambiguity about which is which.
Step 3: Send Your Credentials to Cahoot Securely
1Go to Cahoot's secure upload link: https://mtfiles.egnyte.com/ul/eGbQGUB0oJ
2Upload the file containing your Client ID and Client Secret. Include your company name in the filename so we can match it to your account.
3Submit Ticket to let us know your upload is complete. Reference Rithum Dsco / Nordstrom in the subject line.
4Delete the local file containing your credentials once you've confirmed the upload succeeded.
What Happens After You Submit Your Credentials
Cahoot Support configures the Dsco connection on our side and validates it against your account. You'll receive confirmation when the integration is live and your Nordstrom orders are importing.
Before your first orders can ship, Cahoot also needs:
- Your product catalog mapped between Nordstrom UPCs and your Cahoot SKUs
- Your Nordstrom third-party UPS billing account configured, so Nordstrom is billed for shipping rather than you
- Confirmation of which Nordstrom program you're enrolled in — Nordstrom (full-line) or Nordstrom Rack, which have different ship-by windows
Troubleshooting Rithum Dsco Credential Issues
I don't see an Automation section in the left navigation
API credential creation requires elevated permissions on your Dsco account. If Automation doesn't appear, your user role doesn't have API access. Ask your account administrator to grant it, or contact Rithum support.
I closed the window before copying my Client Secret
The secret cannot be retrieved. On the Manage API Credentials page, use the … menu on that credential row to delete it, then repeat Step 2 to create a replacement.
I already have credentials named Cahoot from a previous setup
Don't reuse them unless you still have the matching Client Secret. Create a new OAuth2 credential and tell us in your support ticket which one is current, so we don't configure the wrong set.
My credentials are connected but orders aren't importing
Most often this means your Nordstrom UPCs aren't yet mapped to Cahoot SKUs, so incoming orders can't match a product. Submit Ticket with an affected Nordstrom PO number and we'll check the mapping.
