Managing Inventory at Cahoot Locations
Cahoot tracks inventory in real-time as orders are processed so that you can monitor and replenish inventory in advance of stock-outs, which is important for all order types, but critical for Seller Fulfilled Prime SKUs.
Note: Cahoot does not update Inventory Qty Available to any sales channels.
Reminder: For Sellers utilizing Cahoot Shipping Software + Fulfillment Services, it is your responsibility to update the Cahoot Only Fulfilled setting, when needed, for your Cahoot SKUs in the network. For Sellers using Cahoot Fulfillment for ALL orders, please ignore this setting.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to Inventory > Your Inventory with Partners.
2. Search by SKU or filter using the Low Stock SKUs Only checkbox.
- Partner Qty Available is real-time inventory available for each of the SKUs stored across Cahoot warehouses.
-
Partner Qty Committed is the number of units actively assigned to orders or work orders for fulfillment (i.e. orders in Match Confirmed Order Status), but not yet Shipped.
-
Partner Qty On Hand is the total number of units in stock, which is equal to the
- Partner Qty Available (units not yet committed to an order) PLUS Partner Qty Committed (units already committed to an order).
Note: Inventory is Committed to an order at the time it is assigned to a Cahoot warehouse for fulfillment, and it is simultaneously deducted from Inventory Available (because it can no longer available to be committed to new orders for the SKU). When the order is fulfilled (Shipped Order Status), the Partner Qty Committed is decremented to zero.
2. Use the excel icon at the bottom of the grid to export this data.
IMPORTANT:
When Partner Qty Available at all locations reaches zero (0) units, orders are put into No Match Found Order Status for Sellers to ship or manage themselves. We highly recommending adding Reserve Quantity to all your SKUs to help avoid stock-outs and over-selling. Learn more.
Your Qty Available is not tracked by Cahoot. This is a static number that usually follows these guidelines:
- 0 - Seller is out of stock, and is NOT fulfilling own orders. All orders will be fulfilled by Cahoot (unless Cahoot is also out of stock). Cahoot Only Fulfilled setting is Turned On.
- 99 - Seller has available inventory and is fulfilling orders along with the respective Cahoot fulfillment partners; Cahoot Only Fulfilled setting is Turned Off.
Note: Learn more about Updating the Cahoot Only Fulfilled Setting.
IMPORTANT: Do not change any SKU or ASIN values for SKUs Cahoot has in stock without informing the Cahoot Support Team well in advance. It will break the SKU mapping and orders will not be recognized as fulfillable. Learn more about Creating and Managing Products and Alias SKUs.
