Cahoot stocks standard packaging at each location and the most appropriate packaging will be selected based on various factors. Products that are too large for Cahoot's standard box or mailer sizes will require custom packaging or branded packaging. If your products require non-standard packaging, please review the following:  

Note: Custom packaging refers to non-standard box/mailer sizes that will be supplied by Cahoot, upon request. Branded packaging, on the other hand, is your own boxes or mailers that you provide.

Important: 

- You must receive prior approval before sending your own branded packaging.

- We do not accept mailers that are larger than 18 inches in length or wider than 14 inches.

- All packaging must have at least one flat side that has a minimum space of 6 inches by 4 inches for the placement of a shipping label.

Custom Packaging

Custom packaging refers to non-standard boxes or mailers. Some examples include heavy-duty boxes, side loader boxes, or non-standard sizes. 

1. If your products require boxes or mailers that are not available at Cahoot, please let us know and we can provide custom sizes at an additional cost.

2. Cahoot will purchase custom boxes or mailers on your behalf. You will be invoiced the full cost of these items upfront.

Branded Packaging

Branded Packaging refers to your own packaging that is sent to Cahoot for shipping your orders. 

1. Notify your account manager during onboarding if you would like to send branded packaging.

2. Branded packaging must be created as a unique SKU so it can be added to your Cahoot inbound shipment. Enter the exact dimensions & weight of your box or mailer in the Product Editor so the shipping charges will be accurate. 

3. Branded boxes or mailers will require their own storage location and incur additional storage fees.

4. Branded inserts or any other marketing components will require their own storage location and incur additional storage fees.

Additional Notes

- If requested, Cahoot can purchase additional shipping supplies (e.g. kraft paper, cushioning, stickers) for your orders. You will be invoiced the full cost of these items upfront.

- If you provide branded packaging for your orders, it is your responsibility to track, monitor, and replenish those supplies at each location.

- If you run out of your branded packaging, we will not continue to ship your items unless you contact us to let us know how to proceed. 

- Cahoot will not provide any feedback on the branded packaging you provide.
