Sometimes you may need to create a direct label, without a connected Sales Order. This is most commonly used when your customer contacts you and you need to either create a return label, or create a new shipment due to an issue with the order. 

In these cases, you can use the Direct Shipping Label feature to create labels as needed.

Important: Your Cahoot Account must be licensed to use the Direct Shipments module. Please contact Support to request approval. 

 

Step by Step Guide

In these cases, you can use the Direct Shipping Label feature to create labels as needed.

1. Log into Cahoot: https://app.letscahoot.net/merchant

 

2. Use the top navigation to go to Orders > All Direct Shipments 

 

3. From the All Direct Shipments page, Create Shipping Label


4. Specify the Ship From and Ship To addreses


 

Tip: You can Save to Address Book addresses you commonly use

 

5. Add at least one Item to the order

 

6. Once you have at least one Item and the Ship From and Ship To addresses specified, enter the Carrier and Package information

 

 

7. Once complete, Get Rates to see the Shipping Methods

 

 

8. Confirm the Shipping information, then Create Shipping Label 

 

9. Once finished, on the All Direct Shipments page, select the labels you want to print, then Print Shipping Label.

 

 

10. After Printing, labels will show a Shipped On timestamp.

 

 

11. Labels can also be VOIDED; click on a Shipment ID then Void Label
