How to Cancel Orders from Cahoot Fulfillment

Cahoot offers a straightforward process for canceling orders before they enter the fulfillment workflow at our Cahoot warehouses. You can cancel or exclude an order from processing as long as our warehouse team hasn't begun picking inventory, which marks the start of order fulfillment.

⚠️ Important: Once a Cahoot Fulfillment Partner begins processing an order, cancellation is no longer possible. We recommend canceling orders immediately upon identifying the need, or at minimum one day before the scheduled Cahoot Ship By date.

If the order has already been marked as shipped, you can attempt a package intercept with the carrier. Keep in mind that newly shipped orders may not be immediately eligible for intercept services. Allow up to 24 hours for the carrier's origin scan to appear in tracking, as this scan is required before intercept requests can be processed.

Step-by-Step Guide

1.
Find the order you wish to remove.

2. Under the Actions drop down in the upper right, select Remove Order.

Note: If the order is in Shipping Label Ready status, clicking Remove Order will immediately void the shipping label. If you don't see the Remove Order button, then the order is no longer eligible for Removal.

3. On the popup confirmation, enter a reason why this order is being removed, and click Confirm.

4. After you click Confirm, the order will be moved to No Match Found status. Notify the customer and update any third party system, as needed.

Final Step: Exclude or Reset

Select Exclude Order if you want to permanently remove the order from Cahoot fulfillment.

Choose Reset Order to reprocess the order and reassign it to a Cahoot Fulfillment Partner for shipping. Learn more about Resetting Orders.

Enter a reason why this Order is being Excluded, and Confirm.

Adjust the Channel Latest Deliver By Date if needed.

Note: If an order has been Excluded, it can still be reset; Excluded orders will have the Reset Order button in the upper right corner.
